Prawn Cutlets
Ingredients
- 225g cleaned Prawns
- ¼ teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 2 tablespoons ground Onions
- 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice.
- 1 Egg
- 225ml Bread Crumbs
- 225ml Fat or Ghee
- Salt to taste
Method
- Cut the prawns from the middle and flatten well.
- Mix garlic powder, ground onions and lemon juice together and soak the prawns for 1 hour.
- Beat the egg well.
- Take the prawns one by one and dip them into the beaten egg.
- Spread the bread crumbs in a tray and cover the prawns with crumbs.
- Fry them in deep hot fat until they attain a light brown colour.
- Serve it with tomato sauce or mint chutney as a snack.
